This is one of five new works that Freegums made specifically for the Twyla x i am OTHER collection. The pieces blend mind-bending patterns with fashion photography. Freefums made this limited edition by patchworking or tiling scenes from the other four works in the collection. The backgrounds are inspired by landscapes seen from the vantage point of a plane. He then placed figures pulled from fashion magazines on top; draping themselves over geological structures or catwalking a dry riverbed, the models play with our sense of scale and bring color, movement and energy to the scene.
